If you're new here, I believe we all have an inner Rachel Zoe and the opportunity to share this shouldn't just be reserved for those who have a show on Bravo. Whether Vogue is your religion and WhoWhatWear your bible, or you're just a girl who likes to be confident in how you dress, this link-up is for you!
Feature As Head Stylist!
Each week, I will select one person to be featured as Head Stylist in the next Style Sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to really showcase your style to everyone!
My vision is for this to be like one giant girls night in (or a shopaholics anonymous meeting), where we share our own unique style, favorite outfits, latest fashion loves and hopefully be inspired with new ideas!
To join Style Sessions, I ask that you please follow my blog (via GFC, Email, Twitter, Bloglovin' or Facebook) and simply provide a link to this in your post or add the button to your blog (because it's just good etiquette). As this is new, I'd be so appreciative of any tweets to spread the word!
Perfect Polka Dots
So I should start by confessing, I do love a little celeb fashion. But I don't buy just anything someone puts their name on (usually that makes me less inclined to add it to my wardrobe because I think it's just marketing hype). However, I really loved the pieces in this outfit. I also thought it would be fun to add an extra pop of color by finishing the look with red accents... patent red pumps, lips and nails.
Meet Our Head Stylist...
This week I'm excited to introduce you to Kendra from her blog of the same name, Kendra Kay! Isn't she such a doll! I adore Kendra's style - I think it's classic and feminine, but with a very cool twist.
STYLE Q&A WITH KENDRA:
What is your favorite wardrobe piece? My converse. I've been in a relationship with converse since the 7th grade and we have a really good thing goin'. Right now I've been lovin' on my red. I added studs to them and have been wearing them with everything.
Describe your style in three words? Comfortable. Casual. Unpredictable. I only say unpredictable because I think my style is all over the place.
Best piece of fashion advice? I don't belong to the "beauty is pain" club. If it looks good but doesn't feel good, take it off. If you are comfortable, you will have confidence that will show whether you're wearing a couture gown, or jeans and a tee.
