If you're new here, I believe we all have an inner Rachel Zoe and the opportunity to share this shouldn't just be reserved for those who have a show on Bravo. Whether Vogue is your religion and WhoWhatWear your bible, or you're just a girl who likes to be confident in how you dress, this link-up is for you!
Join us every Tuesday from 4pm PST and share anything outfit or fashion related. If you coerced your spouse into doing a fashion shoot, took a couple of 'selfies', or are on a budget and would like to create a 'virtual outfit', we'd love to see it!
Be Featured As Head Stylist!
Each week, I will select one person to be featured as Head Stylist in the next Style Sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to really showcase your style to everyone!
Be Inspired!
My vision is for this to be like one giant girls night in (or a shopaholics anonymous meeting), where we share our own unique style, favorite outfits, latest fashion loves and hopefully be inspired with new ideas!
To join Style Sessions, I ask that you please, pretty please follow my blog (via GFC, Email, Twitter, Bloglovin' or Facebook) and simply provide a link to this in your post or add the button to your blog. And because this is new, I'd be so appreciative of any tweets to spread the word!

And The Fairy Godmother Said,
You Shall Go To The Ball...
Over the last few months, you may have noticed I love getting dressed up! I adore anything girly... so if there's an excuse to indulge in makeup, clothes and sparkle, I'm in my element. Right from when I was a little girl, I always thought Cinderella was so lucky to go to that Ball! There's just something magical about the word, it conjures up all sorts of wonderful thoughts about stunning gowns, handsome men, beautiful dancing and amazing food. So I was thrilled when Chris and I had the opportunity to attend a Ball recently.
Finding the perfect outfit can be tricky when you don't go to something like this everyday (although I wish there were more opportunities to wear a ball gown, what's so wrong with rocking a gown on a weeknight? I've said a few times to my friends, I'd love us to host a formal dinner every now and then. Anyway, I invested in a black BCBG Max Azria gown last year for another ball we went to and although I would have loved a sequin number, I thought the great thing about this dress is I can completely change the look with accessories.
This time, I kept it simple but added some sparkle with turquoise earrings, a bow ring and shimmery bow clutch. I love the high-low bubble hem on this dress, pleat detail on the bust and long bow tie at the back...

Meet Our Head Stylist...

STYLE Q&A WITH AUNIE:
What is your favorite wardrobe piece? I love scarves! I have a ton of them and they are always my go-to piece for jazzing up any outfit. I don't love accessories, arm parties or big bling, so this is my way of making an outfit pop without all the hassle of a gazillion pieces of sparkle! I usually buy regular scarves, tie the ends together and rock them like an infinity scarf... this also serves as a double purpose so I don't have to buy so many!
Describe your style in three words? Casual, affordable, chic.
Best piece of fashion advice? If you're not comfortable before you leave the house, change your outfit. I can't tell you how many times I've left the house thinking that my earrings are too heavy, my shirt is too low-cut, my pants are too tight, or my heels are too high... but that I'll be able to "deal" with it. Ugh. No one wants to deal with that all day! If you don't feel comfortable being YOU, odds are, you won't have your best day. Dress for you, put on your smile and the rest will follow.
