Style Sessions: Weekly Link Up

Welcome to Style Sessions! I can't believe it's number four already, I adore seeing you every week - and all your gorgeous outfits! 

If you're new here, I believe we all have an inner Rachel Zoe and the opportunity to share this shouldn't just be reserved for those who have a show on Bravo. Whether Vogue is your religion and WhoWhatWear your bible, or you're just a girl who likes to be confident in how you dress, this link-up is for you!

Join us every Tuesday from 4pm PST and share anything outfit or fashion related. If you coerced your spouse into doing a fashion shoot, took a couple of 'selfies', or are on a budget and would like to create a 'virtual outfit', we'd love to see it!

My vision is for this to be like one giant girls night in (or a shopaholics anonymous meeting), where we share our own unique style, favorite outfits, latest fashion loves and hopefully be inspired with new ideas!

Bows + Beads + Black

On the weekend, we went to a friends' birthday dinner and I wore one of my favorite dresses. I adore the beaded cuffs, sheer fabric and loose floaty style. It's so versatile, in summer I also wear it tucked in with black shorts. I love to accessorise with silver to match the beading and feel the necklace, bow clutch and studded black pumps work well. A pop of red lipstick in my favorite color (YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Le Orange) finishes the look...

Meet Our Head Stylist...

I couldn't believe I hadn't discovered Erin from The Fashion Canvas until recently - where have I been? This girl is one serious fashionista and a total sweetheart to match! Erin does the most fabulous photo shoots and I'm sure her unbelievable wardrobe would rival that of some Hollywood stars!

STYLE Q&A WITH ERIN:

What is your favorite wardrobe piece?  Due to our extremely cold winter in Utah, I have been loving anything with fur! Coats, vests, boots etc. But my favorite go-to piece that has been in quite a few posts lately, is my Michel Kors infinity scarf (seen above).  It is the perfect accessory to throw on and dress up any outfit (and also keeps me very warm!)

Describe your style in three words?  Eclectic, Girly, Risk-Taker

Best piece of fashion advice?  Wear clothing that works for your shape. I love looking at other fashion blogs for inspiration, but will make modifications to their outfits to fit my specific body-style. Being confident and owning your look is also the key to a successful outfit, because that confidence will radiate throughout!
