Celebrity Makeup Bag: Lauren Conrad

My love of Lauren Conrad goes waaay back, from her teen years in Laguna Beach to current day as a Hollywood fashionista. With down-to-earth style, she always has a relaxed, glossy, golden, girl-next-door look to her beauty. I've done a little digging and found some of her favorite products to share with you...

Foundation

Lauren loves Sensai by Kanebo's Fluid Finish, explaining she uses this foundation during the day because it's so lightweight and moisturizing. The brand says it has 55% water content, giving skin a silky sheen.

Concealer

I can agree with Lauren on this one, I too use Cle de Peau Concealer and it is fantastic! The coverage is brilliant, without being too heavy. You don't need much and I found it works really well under the eyes and also to cover any blemishes. It costs a small fortune, but (unfortunately for my wallet) once I tried it nothing else compared. I tend to spend a little more on critical makeup items (foundation, concealer) to get the base right and then less on the fun things like eyeshadow. It is available from Nordstrom or you can look on eBay.

Bronzer
Lauren always finishes her makeup routine with this gorgeous powder, Soleil Tan de Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder. Or for a less expensive option, she also recommends Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder.

Blush

To create that pretty peachy glow Lauren is known for, she sweeps a little NARS Blush in Amour or Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in #55 In Love on the apples of her cheeks.

Eyeliner

Describing it as 'simply perfection', Lauren's all time favorite eyeliner is Mark Liquid Eyeliner.

Mascara

A cheap and cheerful addition to her makeup routine, Lauren likes Maybelline Full n' Soft Mascara for luscious lashes.

Lips

When the occasion calls for a statement lip and stunning pop of color, Lauren chooses Dior Addict Lipstick. She also loves to keep a lip moisturiser such as Kiehl's Lip Balm in her bag. I can vouch for this balm too, the Coconut flavor almost makes me feel like I'm sipping Pina Colada's on an island somewhere.
